Makeup for Hooded Eyelids
For today's video, I did something a little different! I take you along to one of my wine nights with my girls, while I did my friend Melanie's makeup! She has hooded eyelids, so I gave her some tips and tricks on how to make her features pop and how to use some of her own products better.
I explain in further details in the video, but basically here are some tips and tricks :)
Make sure you bring your eyeshadow up above your crease a little, so that we can still see your eyeshadow when you open your eyes and you look straight ahead.
Use a primer and long-wearing products to prevent smudging and smearing. I recommend cream shadows that set and stay for a long time!
If you're using liquid liner, make sure you use one that doesn't smudge! And bring it up a little more than normal so that it's visible.
For lashes, I recommend ones that "feather out." They should be shorter in the inner corners and longer and fluffier in the outer corners. This will open up your eyes more and create more depth to your eye shape.
